Porcelain Crowns and Bridges

Porcelain is one of the best materials used in dentistry. One of the most common uses for it is for dental crowns and bridges. Crowns restores or “caps” the whole tooth when decay is rampant and fillings would just threaten the health of the tooth. Bridges on the other hand restore missing spaces by using crowns and connecting one tooth to another to close that gap.

Crowns and bridges not only restores function but it also strengthens teeth when properly designed. They are also used to dramatically improve the appearance of worn-out, damaged teeth or misaligned teeth.
