Mrs. Richelle Joson-Ligot, Stay-at-home Nanay

My husband Tot and I dreaded visits to dentists during childhood. Probably because as kids, we only went to see the “men in white” when it was too late to avoid the monstrous drill and the humongous needles.  Years before getting married, we were introduced to an amiable lady-dentist, Dr. Belen Buenazeda, by a close churchmate.  We saw the big improvement in our friend’s teeth and thought it best to see Tita Bee (as we now fondly call her) for our dental needs.  She didn’t just educate us with her brilliant mind and treat our teeth with gentle, competent hands but became our gracious friend.

Our love story with the Buenazeda Dental Clinic started more than 20 years ago! Now with four children, we intend to make every dental visit of our kids not just pleasant, but something to look forward to. I remember how Dr. JR (Bee’s son) unselfishly gave my homeschooled daughter Nikita a fun learning experience during a visit, and how he referred us (accompanying us even) to a senior-specialist to further assist me in my needs. Also, after doing surgery on my eldest Mishka, JR willingly took our late calls when we needed his advice, and consistently followed up on Mishka’s recovery.  With the expertise of the whole team and up-to-date equipment, we thank God that we are enjoying the wonderful legacy of professionalism and compassionate patient-care Tito Sonny and Tita Bee have passed on to their sons, JR and Bu. And now joined by JR’s wife, Dr. Michelle, even little tots will be blessed with a warm, tender and cheerful atmosphere at their clinic. In fact, my 3-year-old Miro can’t wait ’til her next adventure with her sweet dentist, Tita Michelle!
